Shipping - Ship Agency

KTS is one of the largest shipping agencies in Kuwait, with a long standing reputation for quality. KTS represents a vast number of international shipping principals and attending to over 200 vessels annually. Our long standing relations with port, customs & immigration authority and suppliers ensure that KTS delivers above and beyond our customers expectations.

Port Services:

Shipping - Husbandry Service

Signing crew members safely on or off to a ship can be a complex operation. KTS provide a safe, time-saving and economical crew sign on/off service in Kuwait.

Crew Handling

  • Flight booking services (airport to deck and deck to airport)
  • Crew handling - meet and greet service, booking of hotels, arranging shore passes, other travel arrangements, etc.
  • Crew health and others - doctor, dentist, mail, and prepaid telephone calling cards, etc.
  • Cash to Master

Shipping - Protecting Agency

KTS protecting agency services assist ship owners and ship operators supervise the charterers’ and state agency function and monitor port call operations. Vessel owners and operators occasionally require to appoint a preferred agent to monitor the charterers’ nominated agency function and port call operations.

KTS offers a service to owners and operators ranging from provision of a simple independent report, to full involvement in expediting a port call, including the following:

  • Scrutinizing of proforma D/A submitted by the head agent for compliance with local tariffs
  • Receipt of owners’ funds and payment to head agent
  • Reporting of vessel/cargo status
  • Checking of cargo documents / SOF / time sheets for accuracy, reporting/updating vessel owner if inaccurate and issuing letters of protest
  • Signing Bills of Lading
